Recognizing that the GLBT community is in the mist of a struggle to end discrimination, Equality New Mexico works to build coalitions as a way of furthering a diverse movement toward inclusion.  A 12-year-old collection of grassroots gay and allied organizations, Equality New Mexico has formed collaborative efforts to pass hate crimes and human rights legislation.  Also, EQNM has made strides in identifying and mobilizing a pro-LGBT voter block.
