With activist work in three primary areas—advocacy, education, and support—Family Pride Coalition is a national not for profit organization dedicated solely to equality for LGBT parents and their families.  With their headquarters in Washington, DC, FPC has nearly 200 chapters and 35,000 supports.  Beginning as the Gay Fathers Coalition, FPC ,over the years, expanded its role, as the services it provided were desired by lesbian mothers, children of gays and lesbians, as well as other members of the LGBT community.  The Family Pride Coalition, today, continues its work at the local, state, and national level to fight for the concerns of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender parents and the ones they love.
