As HIV/AIDS has become more prevalent in communities of color, the National AIDS Education & Services for Minorities (NAESM) goals of education and expanding health care has become all the more critical. A non-profit community-based organization, NAESM has informing minority communities, since 1990. NAESM has expanded its reach in services to non-medical areas of life impacted by HIV/AIDS by offering programs related to: long-term housing, transportation assistance, and food and clothing distribution.
