The only nation-wide Latina reproductive health organization, the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) mission “is to ensure the fundamental human right to reproductive health care for Latinas, their families and their communities through education, policy advocacy, and community mobilization.”  NLIRH understands that reproductive health and rights exist in and amongst a complex array of issues that collaborate to exacerbate the freedoms of Latinas.  As such, NLIRH is a part of a broader social justice movement to remove all mechanisms of oppression.
