Founded by Margaret Sanger on the, then radical, idea that all women should have the right to determine when and whether to have children, Planned Parenthood of New York City (PPNYC) began as a small clinic and grew into a movement.  With over four generations of activism, PPNYC has seen many successes but is aware that challenges still abound. Through it all, PPNYC has remained focus on the simple vision of its founder of “a tradition of choice built on responsibility, respect and leadership."
