Serving the LGBTIQ Communities Since 1973

Established in 1973 as, “Love and Peace Together,” The Center Hawaii was the first LGBT support facility in Hawaii. The Center has since grown to reflect the changes in awareness around and about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The Center helps to accentuate the sense of community in Hawaii by acting as an inter-island coordinator of programs so that they may have a statewide impact. Today, The Center continues to become larger as it incorporates the diversity of the LGBT constituency it serves into its efforts.
